Hi and welcome to my site, glad you stopped by.
This is a very graphics intensive site so sorry for the long load times; but hey, I'm a dog and you can't smell my butt over the Internet YET, so you'll just have to look at pictures instead. As I get more organized, I'll sort this stuff out and put in some thumbnails for you.
I guess that you have seen my real name, but my friends and family and anyone one else that doesn't want to get bit calls me Jax - yeah, right, really funny "Just Jax". Like I haven't heard that before. Anyway, let's get on with this.My parents 1st wedding anniversary was to be June 15, 1997. Dad had a 'friend' that worked at the pet shop in the mall. Seeing as how Mom was talking about getting a puppy, this seemed like a really good thing. They decided on a Rat Terrier as they are much cheaper (and a finer animal if I do say so myself). So there I was in the mall all caged up with the rest of the mangy animals looking as cute as possible. Dad doesn't know squat about dogs and wanted a Rat Terrier.
Talking to his 'friend', he found me labeled as a Rat Terrier. Now, Dad did ask the questions, and I could hardly
contain my laughter as the salesman answered with a straight face, "that color is very rare for a Rat Terrier", "no
we forgot to dock his tail - I'll take $10 off", and finally, "8 pounds max!". I was laughing so hard Eukanuba came out my nose.
Take a peek at my baby picture (I'm in brown) - do I look like a Rat Terrier to you? Also, check out my first babe - Ridgely.
In case you are wondering, I finally grew up to 28 pounds - 35 after they whacked my jewels if
you know what I mean. Here I am fully grown with Mom & Dad - notice my enthusiasm.
This page is about me, but that is enough of the boring stuff. If there is anything that I like to do, I LIKE TO GO. Although I do hang out at the crib and sleep about 18 hours a day, when it's time to go, I am ready. Anyplace, anytime, and the more exciting the better. Let me show you what I am talking about.
This was my first out of the country run - except for the weekends into Juarez. It was great! The snorkling was perfect and the beaches outstanding. Check me out!!

Look out Taliban - this rocket's for you! Check the insertion pic really closely. Can you see me hanging out the port door on the first ship? Those choppers are bigger than you think!

I got my open water certification back in November prior to going to Cabo San Lucas. You'll see some pics of that later. This is my open water checkout in Balmorhea, Texas. Thank goodness for my 3 mil fur!

I just finished my advanced certification in Blue Hole at Santa Rosa, NM. You will love it if you ever get to dive it and hopefully someone got some pictures of that place for me to share. I also dove with the Fat Boy from fatboyscuba.com at Possum Kingdom and it was great fun! Check out his site if you get a chance and come back to feed me soon!!
